Keystone Hands Tennis 6-3 Defeat

La Plume, PA - College of Notre Dame struggled in doubles play and fell in No. 3 through 6 singles as host Keystone earned a 6-3 victory in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) women's tennis action Saturday afternoon.

The Gators (4-8 overall/2-7 CSAC) earned a doubles victory at No. 1, as the team of senior Miku White (Great Mills, MD/Great Mills) and freshman Kelcy Bye (Parkton, MD/Hereford) handed Shiloh Richner and Tory Girton a 8-2 defeat.

White and Bye were also the only two Gator victors in singles action. White topped Richner, 4-6, 6-4, 10-7, at No. 1 singles while Bye earned a 6-0, 6-4 win over Girton at No. 2 singles.

White and Bye improved to 7-4 overall as a team with their win, and Bye improved to 7-3 on the season at No. 2 singles with her victory today.

Notre Dame will close out the regular season on Wednesday with a 3 p.m. home match against CSAC opponent Gwynedd-Mercy.
