BALTIMORE, MD - College of Notre Dame fell short of earning its first Colonial States Athletic Conference tennis victory of the season Tuesday afternoon, falling to visiting Neumann, 8-1. The Gators now stand at 1-4 overall and 0-3 in CSAC play on the season while Neumann improved to 5-2 and 4-0, respectively.

The Gators lone victory of the day came from the No. 1 doubles team of senior Miku White (Great Mills, MD/Great Mills) and freshman Kelcy Bye (Parkton, MD/Hereford). White and Bye defeated the team of Ali DeTolla and Maria Evans, 8-3. The win pushed the duo's doubles record back over .500 at 3-2.

Bye also went three sets against Jasper Thomson at No. 2 singles, but came up just short, 6-1, 4-6 (8-10).

Notre Dame will try again for its first CSAC win of the season on Thursday at Philadelphia Biblical.
