Baltimore, Md. - October 2, 2011 - The Notre Dame of Maryland University tennis team edged CSAC rival Cedar Crest College 5-4 to pick up their third victory of the season. The Gators now stand at 3-7-1 overall and 3-4-1 in league play, while the Falcons slip to 0-9, 0-6 CSAC.

Alex Osario, and
Steph Thackoordeen.
Bye (Parkton/Hereford) and
Thackoordeen (Middle River/Kenwood) picked up wins at #1 and #4 singles, respectively, in the team's final home match.
Bye and
Amanda Fansler (Smithfield, Va.) earned a win at #1 doubles, while
Thackoordeen and
Anna Schmedding (Silver Spring/Paint Branch) picked up the win at #2 doubles.
Fansler was also victorious at the #2 singles slot.
The Gators play again Friday, October 7 at Cabrini College. Match time is 3:30 p.m.
