Rosemont, Pa. – Saturday, September 17, 2011 – The Notre Dame of Maryland University tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to Rosemont College Saturday afternoon. The loss moves the Gators to 2-2-1 overall and in CSAC play. 

Junior Amanda Fansler (Smithfield, Va. / Smithfield), senior Steph Thackoordeen (Middle River / Kenwood), and freshman Anna Schmedding (Silver Spring / Paint Branch) picked up wins at #2, 3, and #4 singles. Thackoordeen and Schmedding also earned a Gator point at #2 doubles.

The Gators play their third match in three days when they host St. Mary’s College of Maryland in non-conference action on Sunday, September 18 for a 1:00 p.m. match.
