Baltimore, Md.  --  Notre Dame of Maryland University hosted in-state rival McDaniel College on Saturday in the tennis team's first non conference match of the season. 

In the match, the Gators struggled against a strong Green Terror team, falling 9-0 in the match.  

Sophomore Natalie Smith (San Diego, Calif./Point Loma) and freshman Catherine Bruzdzinski (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Lutheran) led the squad in games won on the afternoon. 

The Gators will return to action on Friday as they host Colonial States Athletic Conference foe Cabrini College.
