RESULTS

Baltimore, Md.  --  Notre Dame of Maryland University's tennis team hosted Colonial States Athletic Conference rival Cedar Crest College on Saturday, but would fall 6-3 in the match.  

In doubles play, the No. 1 Doubles team of junior Liz Tran (Clarksville, Md./River Hill) and freshman Paola Castillo (San Pedro Sula, Honduras/Escuela International Sampedrana) would take an 8-6 victory.  

Tran would also capture the No. 1 Singles position as well.  After dropping the first set 2-6, she would rebound to win the second set 6-4 and captured the third set 6-0.  Junior Kaitlyn Sommer (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Catholic) would also give the Gators a No. 6 Singles victory, winning 6-4, 6-2.  

The Gators fall 4-5 on the season and will look to recover as they host local rival Trinity Washington University on Tuesday.
