RESULTS

Radnor, Pa.  --  Notre Dame of Maryland University would travel to Cabrini College to take on the Cavaliers in a Colonial States Athletic Conference matchup.  

The Gators would take an early lead as they would capture two victories in doubles play.  The No. 2 Doubles team of junior Natalie Smith (San Diego, Calif./Point Loma) and Carrie Naylor (Elkridge, Md./Mount de Sales) would win 9-7 while No. 3 Doubles of junior Kaitlyn Sommer (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Catholic) and freshman Sandy Vo (Baltimore, Md./Parkville) would also take a 9-7 victory to give the Gators a 2-1 lead heading into singles. 

Unfortunately, Notre Dame was only able to come away with one singles win, as Sommer claimed No. 6 Singles 8-4.  

Cabrini would end up with a 6-3 victory.  With the loss, Notre Dame falls to 4-4 on the year, and 3-4 in CSAC play.  They will look to rebound as they host CSAC rival Cedar Crest College on the Notre Dame Tennis Courts on Saturday.
