CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – The tennis team scored its fourth conference victory today, as the Gators earned an 8-1 win at Clarks Summit. With the win, the club improves to 4-2 overall.

After falling in doubles one, senior Natalie Smith and sophomore Tavia Williams got the Gators back on track with an 8-2 No. 2 doubles win. The club was awarded the No.3 doubles victory by forfeit.

It was all Gators in singles play. Senior Elizabeth Tran scored a 6-4, 6-2 win at the No.1 flight, while classmate Carrie Naylor followed with a 6-1, 6-1 victory.

Senior Kaitlyn Sommer won her No. 3 singles match, 6-3, 6-3. Junior Morgan Harter topped her opponent 8-0. The Gators earned victories in numbers five and six singles by forfeit.

Notre Dame is back in action Friday, as the club travels to Immaculata for a 3:30 p.m. match.
