BALTIMORE, Md. – Notre Dame field hockey soared to their first Colonial States Athletic Conference victory since 2014, with a 2-0 victory over Bryn Athyn College Wednesday afternoon.
On Senior Day, where seniors

Kayla Becker,
Samantha Kastner, Hunter King (Manager), and
Megan Morales were honored, the Gators kept the pressure on the Lions taking a first half lead.
In a mostly offensive game for Notre Dame, six different players recorded shots on goal. NDMU outshot Bryn Athyn, 14-2.
Sophomore
Michaela Seay got the scoring started for the Gators, notching her first career goal in the 13
th minute. Seay snagged a rebounded shot and made a move to beat a defender to help the Gators post the 1-0 lead.
Freshman
Vanessa Dunn led the charge, posting a game leading, five shots and three on goal. She finishes the season leading the Gators in shots and third in the CSAC with 4.14 per game.
Dunn sits in second in goals this season with six, right behind senior Megan Morales who scored her eighth goal of the season tonight against the Lions in the second half. Morales too scored off a rebounded shot.
Sophomore
Keyeria Dawson and Morales both tallied three shots apiece in the game.
In goal for the Gators, freshman
Fallon Katz tallied one save to post her second shutout of the season.
Notre Dame wraps their 2018 season the a 4-10 overall and 1-7 in the CSAC.
The Gators not only recorded their first CSAC win since 2014, but this is the first time since 2006 that the team has recorded four wins in a season.
This is also the first time since 2008 that the Notre Dame field hockey team has tallied two shutout victories in the same season.
