Rogers Gets First Win In Gator Loss to McDaniel

Box Score RESULTS WESTMINSTER, Md. – Notre Dame tennis was back in action Thursday afternoon after a long hiatus due to inclement weather last week. In their first game in nearly two weeks, the Gators fell to local opponent, McDaniel College, 8-1.

First-year player, Davida Rogers, posted Notre Dame's lone match victory. In her No. 5 singles match, she won in straight sets, 6-3 and 6-0. This is her first victory this season and now moves to 1-2 in her first season. The No. 3 doubles team of Rogers and freshman Ayana Johnson nearly scored another win for the Gators, but fell in a close match, 8-5.

The Gators move to 1-5 overall this season with five conference games remaining. After the Easter break, Notre Dame will travel to Keystone on April 4th.
