Box Score RESULTS  BALTIMORE, Md. – Notre Dame tennis got their season underway this afternoon as they hosted Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent, Clarks Summit University.  On a chilly and windy afternoon, the Gators dropped their first of three matches this weekend, 7-1. 

First in doubles, the Defenders bested the Gators, 8-3, 8-2, and 8-5 in No. 1, 2, and 3 doubles, respectively.

In the singles match ups, newcomer, senior Ashley Guy posted the team's only victory wining 6-0, 6-3 in her first match of her career.  Senior Sandy Vo took four sets in No. 1 singles, but fell 6-2, 6-2. 

Notre Dame tennis has a busy weekend as they play three conference matches in three days.  Next, the team will host Neumann University tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. in Baltimore and then travel to their indoor facility in Bel Air, Md. for a "home" match against Immaculata University, Sunday.
