Box Score LANGHORNE, Pa. – Notre Dame tennis was on the road Friday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match.  The Gators opened to a strong start against the Highlanders, going into singles play with a 2-1 advantage after their doubles matches.  Cairn took all but one match in singles play to take the match, 6-3.

In first doubles, seniors Sandy Vo and Catherine Bruzdzinski started the Gators off strong picking up an 8-2 decision.  Third doubles team, senior Ashley Guy and Beedhya Rai also scored doubles victories for NDMU, taking the match, 8-4.

Vo also secured Notre Dame's lone singles match victory, taking first singles in straight sets.  This is Vo's quickest victory this season, only giving up two games, 6-0, 6-2.  Despite dropping her second singles match, Bruzdzinski had an impressive match falling in the first set 6-5 and then dropping a close tie break, 10-6. 

The Gators head home for a CSAC match up against last season's conference champions, Gwynedd Mercy University, tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.  Seniors Sandy Vo, Cat Bruzdzinski, and Ashley Guy will be honored prior to the start of the match.  NDMU will be holding a Gator Rally celebration down at the field where brunch will be served from 11:30 p.m. to the start of the match.
