MILFORD, Del. – Notre Dame field hockey started their 2018 season on the road Wednesday at the De Turf Sports Complex as they faced Wesley College. The Gators posted five shots against the Wolverines, but would eventually fall, 8-0.
Freshman
Kelsey Campbell led the team shots in her first career game, recording four shots on goal. She had two good looks, posting back-to-back shots in both the first and second half.
Senior
Megan Morales also tallied a shot in the game.
In her season debut in goal, freshman
Fallon Katz recorded 15 saves on 25 shots on goal.
In the second half, freshman
Katie Hawkins help prevent two goals, posting her first defensive saves of the season.
WHAT's NEXT?
Field Hockey will get a short break before returning to action Saturday. The team will travel to Eastern Mennonite University for a 3:00 p.m. matchup.
