WHAT'S NEXT?
Prior to today's game, the Gators were still in playoff contention, tied at 3-2 with three other teams in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. The loss today puts the Gators at 3-3 overall in CSAC play, tied with Centenary for the final playoff spot. The Cyclones hold the tie break from their meeting earlier this season, as the Gators narrowly miss the playoffs.
This season, the Gators broke new ground. Finishing 7-10 overall, the Gators posted more wins this season since 2004. They also posted three conference wins, the most in program history since joining the CSAC in 2007. Next week, CSAC will release their All-Conference teams.
