BALTIMORE, Md. – The Notre Dame tennis team opened their 2019 season today against local opponent, McDaniel College. 

The Gators dropped their first match of the season, 6-3.  Newcommer Isabella Dallasta scored NDMU lone full-match victory in first singles, 6-3, 6-0. 

First doubles team of Dallasta and Davida Rogers battled tough in their match, but fell, 8-4.

NDMU picked up forfeit wins in both sixth singles and third doubles.

NDMU tennis had a delayed start to their season, suffer two early postponements/cancelations.   Although the hosted the Green Terror today, they were scheduled to get their schedule started at the start of the month against Shenandoah University on the road.  That game has now been moved to Sunday, March 31^st.

WHAT'S NEXT?
NDMU tennis get just over a week break before returning to action.  On Thursday, March 21, they will host Trinity Washington University at 3:30 p.m.
