Gators Fall in CSAC Action

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — The Notre Dame Gators traveled to Cedar Crest to face the Falcons in a Colonial States Athletic Conference double header on Saturday.

GAME 1
Early in game one the Gators fell behind 4-0 after the end of the 1st but battled back in the top of the 2nd.

After a leadoff single by Freshman Amethyst Stevens, Sophomore Rena Dyson singled in Stevens to put the Gators on the board. Unfortunately, tough pitching and good offense by the Falcons extended their lead to 11-1 by the end of the 3rd inning. That would be the final score.

Junior Isa Carunungan led the Gators with two hits including a double to add to her impressive .400 batting average.

GAME 2

In game two Carunangan in the pitching circle held the Falcons to two hits over the first three and two-thirds innings. Cedar Crest manufactured four runs over the first four innings take their lead to 4-0.

They added three runs on four hits in the 6th inning. With their backs against the wall in the 7th freshman down 7-0, Jodie Bronushas singled to start the inning off.

Stevens and Dyson both got on base to give the Gators two runs.

WHAT'S NEXT?
