BALTIMORE, Md. – Notre Dame tennis hosted Cedar Crest College Saturday in their first home Colonial States Athletic Conference match of the season and second in two days. The Gators picked up one win against the Falcons, but eventually fell to 0-2 in CSAC play, 1-8.
Second doubles sophomore
Davida Rogers and junior
Nnenne Odukwu fought to extra games, but fell 9-7.
In first singles, freshman
Isabella Dallasta earned her second win of the season, notching a three-set victory. Dallasta dropped the first set, 6-2, but charged back in the second. After securing a convincing, 6-1 second-set victory, first singles went to the deciding third-set. In a battle to the end, Dallasta came out on top, 10-7.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Gators host two matches this week, first Lancaster Bible College on Thursday and then Trinity Washington on Friday. NDMU will then travel to Clark Summit on Saturday for their third CSAC match of the season.
