ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Colonial States Athletic Conference announced their weekly selection for tennis and track and field. Two student-athletes were recognized today, making it three honors for the Gators this week.
Freshman
Isabella Dallasta nabbed her second CSAC Weekly Honor Roll recognition in her freshman season. Last week Dallasta finished the week 2-0 in first singles and 2-0 in first doubles. She posted four victories at Trinity Washington in the team's doubleheader against the Tigers. She earned her first doubles win of the season with partner sophomore Beedhya Rai.
Earning the team's second CSAC weekly honor in their inaugural season, sophomore
Taylor Epps was named to her first CSAC Weekly Honor Roll. Epps in the 100m, finished third in her heat and 12th overall out of 23 competitors. She set a personal record and an NDMU record, finishing in 13.86. She also broke her NDMU and personal record in the 200m, finishing 13 overall out of 33 runners. She finished second in her heat in 28.74. Epps now has the top three NDMU records in the 100m, setting personal records in every meet.
Notre Dame tennis is headed into their last week of play. Today, they host Rosemont College in their CSAC match up. On Wednesday, they travel to local rival Goucher College and then return home on Thursday to face Bryn Athyn College in their final match of the season.
Track will compete tomorrow at York College in the York College Twilight meet.
