MADISON, N.J. – The Notre Dame field hockey was back on the road today, traveling to non-conference opponent, Drew University. The Gators drop to 2-4 after falling, 1-6.
Despite several good looks at the goal, the Gators were only able to post one late game goal against Drew.
Sophomore
Vanessa Dunn posted her fifth goal of the season in the 53
rd minute. Dunn's goal was assisted by sophomore
Maia Giafes, her second of the season.
Dunn paced the Gators with six shots, while sophomore
Hailey Lockard added three.
In goal, sophomore
Fallon Katz tallied six saves. Sophomore
Katie Hawkins posted the team's first defensive saves of the season, posting two.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Gators will go back-to-back next week, traveling to Widner University on Friday and then hosting Eastern Mennonite University on Saturday.
