VILLANOVA, Pa. – Notre Dame of Maryland University tennis was selected as the 4th ranked team in the latest release of the 2022 CSAC Women's Tennis Preseason Coaches' Poll. Cairn University was the unanimous pick of the coaches to win the 2022 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) women's tennis championship, according to the preseason poll released Friday afternoon.
The Highlanders, who won the title in 2019 and 2021, received 49 points and all seven first-place votes. Cedar Crest College was second with 40 points, followed by Rosemont College in third with 24 points. Clarks Summit tied the Gators for fourth with 22 points, followed by Bryn Athyn College in sixth at 20 points and Saint Elizabeth University in seventh at 19 points.
The CSAC Championship, featuring the top four teams, is set to begin on Friday, April 29, with the championship set for the following day, Saturday, April 30, at the highest remaining seed.
