BALTIMORE –
Nwanneka Udolisa scored her first goal this season and fourth overall at Notre Dame of Maryland University, but the Gators ultimately fell 6-1 to Southern Virginia University at Alumnae Field on Friday.
Udolisa provided the offense for NDMU with 3:02 remaining in the third quarter, as she took a pass from
Jaime Ballard and beat SVU goalkeeper Keira White. Udolisa's goal was her first since she scored twice for the Gators during a 4-1 victory over Lancaster Bible last October.
Ballard's assist was her fourth as a Gator, and she now has 12 points (4 G, 4 A) during her time at NDMU.
Carly Hoffer had three goals to lead the offense for the visiting Knights.
The Gators are back in action on Monday night, traveling to Goucher College for a matchup beginning at 7 p.m.
