St. Mary's City, MD.- The Notre Dame of Maryland Cross Country Teams took on some of the United East best runners, taking part in the Seahawk Classic which served as the United East Preview Meet on Friday, Sep. 13.
The NDMU Men's Cross Country Team was led by a personal best outing from
Jayden Saunders, who finished the 8000-meter race in a time of 39:14.4. In addition,
Hunter Beil recorded his best time of the season, completing the race in a time of 46:21.6.
In the women's race,
Arianna Arendt carried the banner for the Gators, finishing 22
nd overall with a time of 33:50.4.
Alyssa Rojas also continued to show improvement, crossing the finish line 23
rd overall in a time of 34:19.2.
