ASTON, Pa. – The Notre Dame of Maryland softball team was swept by PSU-Brandywine on Friday by scores of 8-2 and 9-2.
In game one,
Anabelle Hafner had two hits, while
Julianna Leatherwood,
Eleanor Flores, and
Gabriella Allred each hit safely. Leatherwood had two RBI, one in the first inning, scoring
Anabelle Hafner, and one in the fifth, scoring Hafner again.
Malorie Gogel took the loss, striking out three and walking one.
In game two, Leatherwood had two hits and two runs batted in as she scored
Anabelle Hafner and
Annabelle Shumski.
Raegan Perkes took the loss, walking four in five innings of work.
Notre Dame will next be in action next Saturday, hosting PSU-Berks.
