Patrick Donohue

Donohue will serve as the Head Coach of Outdoor Track starting in the 2019 season and track in 2019.

Donohue comes to Notre Dame after serving as head coach at Parkville High School in Baltimore, Md. since 2005.  He also worked as the head coach and assistant coach for the indoor and outdoor track and field teams from 2005-2010, and has continued to serve as a consultant for the past five seasons.  

During his tenure at Parkville, Donohue guided the team from being one of the lowest ranked teams, out of 24, to sixth in Baltimore County.  His teams have also achieved top-ten rankings in the state of Maryland as well as seeing several individuals win state championships.  

Prior to working at Parkville, he served as the Head Men's Cross Country Coach at Redeemer Classical Christian from 2001-2005.  Donohue worked as the first-ever cross country coach at Redeemer Classical Christian and grew the program from five runners to 25 over his time there.  

Donohue is a member of the Baltimore Road Runners Club and is a Religious Studies professor at Notre Dame.  He is also USA Track & Field Level 1 Certified Coach.
