Curt Jordan has been at the helm of the Notre Dame of Maryland University swimming program since 1989. Under Jordan's guidance, the swim team has rewritten the school record books in every category.
Entering his 27th year of coaching at Notre Dame of Maryland, Jordan owns a 157-116-2 dual meet record and has distinguished himself as one of the most successful coaches in Notre Dame history, regardless of sport. Jordan is also the longest tenured coach in Notre Dame athletics history.
Jordan has been recognized by his peers as the Atlantic States Championships Coach of the Year in 1996 and the Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference Coach of the Year in 1997. He was also honored as the AWCC Co-Coach of the Year in 2004.
His teams won six AWCC Championships, and have performed equally as well in the classroom. The swim team has won Notre Dame's Mary Anne O'Donnell Team Academic Award four times, most recently in 2009-2010. Jordan's teams have also been recognized as a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All America team, most recently for the fall 2011 semester.
Jordan, who was instrumental in Notre Dame of Maryland being accepted to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) as an associate member in swimming for the 2011-12 season, is the Director of Human Resources for Care First and resides in Bel Air with his wife, Kelly, and their daughters, Emily, Gabrielle and Molly.
