Nathan Rauscher enters his fourth season as the head women's soccer coach at Notre Dame of Maryland in 2026. Rauscher is the 12th head coach in program history, bringing a wealth of experiences into the role.
Rauscher joined the Gators Athletic Department after serving as an assistant women's soccer coach at Stevenson University for six years. During his time with the Mustangs, he planned training sessions that focused on developing attacking movement and midfield combinations. Under Rauscher's leadership, nine players earn MAC Commonwealth All-Conference Honors. In addition, Rauscher led recruiting efforts, growing the program by operating ID Clinics and attending local, regional and national tournaments.
Prior to arriving to Stevenson, Rauscher served as the head women's soccer coach at Mount Saint Vincent from 2015-2017. He immediately changed the fortunes of the program, leading the team to its best record, highest conference standings finish, and first playoff victory in program history. For his efforts, Nathan Rauscher was named Skyline Conference Coach of the Year in 2016.
Rauscher additionally assisted for the men’s program under his former coach at Hamilton College, and for the women’s program at Goucher College. Outside of the college ranks, Rauscher has over 20 years of experience coaching youth soccer. He has his USSF ‘C’ license, and a Premier Diploma and Goalkeeping Level II diploma from United Soccer Coaches.
A 2003 graduate of Hamilton College, Rauscher earned his Bachelor of Arts. He earned his Master's in Education in Athletic Leadership and Administration from Goucher College in 2014.
