STEVENSON, MD - Stevenson University completed a volleyball season sweep against College of Notre Dame Wednesday evening with a 3-0 (25-9, 25-11, 25-21) victory. Stevenson topped Notre Dame in both teams first match of the season back on September 1 by a 3-0 score. The Gators dropped to 4-17 on the year with the loss while the Mustangs improved to 12-16.

Gator junior outside hitter Catherine Subrizi (Bel Air, MD/John Carroll) had 12 kills to lead the Gator offensive attack. Sophomore Katie Murphy (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Poly) had a fine defensive evening, collecting  a team-high 14 digs for Notre Dame.

Avery Gabbard led the way for Stevenson with a match-high 13 kills. Teammate Alex Mercer had 12 kills and Amy Rudolph dished out 30 assists for the Mustangs.

The Gators will return to action tomorrow evening with a 7 p.m. home match against non-conference opponent Hood.
