Gators Stop Giants in Four

BALTIMORE, MD - College of Notre Dame volleyball earned its third win over the past four matches with a 3-1 (25-16, 25-13, 14-25, 25-11) victory over Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Keystone Saturday afternoon. Notre Dame now stands at 6-17 overall and 2-7 in CSAC play, while Keystone dropped to 2-17 and 1-9, respectively.

The Gators were led by junior outside hitter Catherine Subrizi (Bel Air, MD/John Carroll), who registered her sixth double-double of the season with a match-high 23 kills as well as 11 digs. Subrizi, who is currently the kills leader in the CSAC, had a .294 hitting percentage in the match and also added three service aces to help lead the Gators to victory.

Junior outside hitter India Scott (Baltimore/Baltimore Poly) had her second straight match with at least ten kills, registering ten kills along with two blocks and eight digs. Junior setter Christina Kudrna (Bel Air, MD/John Carroll) had 36 assists and nine digs in the victory.

Kendra Bianchi had nine kills to lead the Giants. Heather Rieman had a match-high 15 digs in the losing effort for Keystone.

The Gators will close out their regular season with three matches this week, starting on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. CSAC match at Neumann.
