Volleyball Shuts Out Keystone

La Plume, PA – College of Notre Dame Volleyball picked up third consecutive 3-0 victory Friday evening when they defeated Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Keystone College.

The Gators made quick work of the Giants in the opening game with a 25-16 win. Keystone and College of Notre Dame were neck and neck with each other in the second set before College of Notre Dame secured a 25-23 win. The Gators took the third and final set 25-20 with 11 kills and only two errors. The won pulls College of Notre Dame to 4-4 in the conference and 14-7 overall.

Outside Hitter Catherine Subrizi (Bel Air, MD/John Carroll) lead all players with 8 kills, 3 aces and 22 digs. Junior Cory Santos (Carlsbad, CA/Carlsbad) set up the Gators attack with 20 assists. Senior Christina Kudrna (Bel Air, MD/John Carroll) also came up with 22 digs for the Gators.

College of Notre Dame hosts Trinity College (DC) Wednesday evening at 7p.m. This will be the third meeting between the teams this season; the Gators have won both meetings 3-0.
