Box Score Aston, Pa. --  The Notre Dame of Maryland University volleyball team concluded their 2013 season after facing Neumann University in the first round of the Colonial States Athletic Conference Playoffs.  

Despite dropping the first set 25-20 and the second set 25-10, the Gators fought back to try and reverse their fortune, but ultimately fell in the third set 25-17. 

Junior Marylu Ortiz (Oceanside, Calif./El Camino) led the Notre Dame offense with nine kills, while senior Amanda Sijera (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) added two aces.  Junior Paige Kitchen (Hagerstown, Md./Hagerstown Community College) chipped in with 19 assists.

Defensively, freshman Cleaya Antes (Carson, Calif./California Academy of Math and Science) paced the squad with nine digs.  

Notre Dame finished the season improving their 2012 win total by six games, and reached the CSAC Playoffs for the first time since the 2010 season.
