Box Score Baltimore, Md.  --  Notre Dame of Maryland University hosted Marywood University in a Colonial States Athletic Conference tilt that also served as the team's Pink Game, an annual event designed to help raise awareness and funding for breast cancer research. 

In the match, the Gators kept it close but were unable to get over the hump, falling 25-17, 25-22, 25-20.  

Senior Marylu Ortiz (Oceanside, Calif./El Camino) led Notre Dame with seven kills while freshman Bobbi McDowell (Shady Side, Md./Bishop McNamara) added five.  Freshman Jamie Reyes (Yorba Linda, Calif.) posted 17 assists and sophomore Cleaya Antes (Carson, Calif./California Academy of Math and Science) notched four aces.  

Defensively, Antes paced the squad with 24 digs.  Defending the net, freshman Ashley Pasker (Newark, N.J./University) finished with a career high seven total blocks, including six solos.   

The Gators will look to re-group as they will stay home and take on CSAC foe Gwynedd Mercy University at 7 p.m.
