Box Score Scranton, Pa.  --  Notre Dame of Maryland University visited Marywood University in the first round of the Colonial States Athletic Conference Playoffs but fell to the Pacers 3-0 to conclude the Gators season. 

In the match, senior Marylu Ortiz (Oceanside, Calif./El Camino) paced the offense with eight kills.  Freshman Ashley Pasker (Newark, N.J./University) added four.  Freshman Jamie Reyes (Yorba Linda, Calif.) posted 14 assists.  

Reyes and sophomore Cleaya Antes (Carson, Calif./California Academy of Math and Science) led the defense with eight digs each.  Freshman Grace Park (Clarksville, Md./Atholton) chipped in with five while Ortiz aided the effort with four.  

Marywood jumped out early in the first set and claimed a 25-10 victory in the opener.  The Gators attempted to rebound but would fall 25-19, 25-15 in the next two sets to give the hosts the 3-0 victory. 

Playing most of the season with five freshman, the young squad ends the season at 11-14 and with the program's second straight CSAC playoff appearance.  Antes and Pasker each earned accolades with both earning CSAC Volleyball Player of the Week honors while Ortiz was named to the CSAC Honor Roll at various points of the season.  The Gators also saw several players finish the regular season ranked in the CSAC statistical standings.
