Notre Dame Hosts Keystone College

Box Score Baltimore, Md. -- Notre Dame of Maryland University basketball hosted Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Keystone College for their second match up of the season Saturday.  The Gators posted their largest first half output of the season, scoring 40 points in the frame.

However, the Gators would not be able to keep up with the league's scoring leaders throughout the second half.  Notre Dame dropped the contest 102-53.

The Gators were paced by freshman Zaria Comer (Leesburg, Va./Tuscarora) who recorded her eighth double-double of the season with a team game high 14 points and 11 rebounds.  Freshman Stephanie Roche (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) scored 13 points on the night, shooting 2-5 from beyond the arc while sophomore Naimani Staley (Silver Spring, Md./Blair) notched nine points on three three pointers, while adding four rebounds.  Freshman Allyson Whitacre (Jarrettsville Md./North Harford) added nine points with three rebounds and three steals, while shooting 3-4 from the free throw line.

Notre Dame will return to action Wednesday as they host CSAC rival Rosemont College in a rematch from earlier this season.
