Volleyball Collects Two CSAC Victories

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Rosemont, Pa.  --  Notre Dame of Maryland University travelled to Rosemont College for a Colonial States Athletic Conference tri-match and defeated the Ravens and Summit University by the same 3-0 score.  

Junior Cassidy Keller (Sparks, Md./Perry Hall) and sophomore Ashley Pasker (Newark, N.J./University) both notched 18 kills on the day.  Sophomore Jamie Reyes (Yorba Linda, Calif.) would add 43 assists to the effort and also paced the team with eight aces.  

Junior Margaret Pedersen (Brick, N.J.) posted with seven aces while sophomore Grace Park (Clarksville, Md./Atholton) contributed six.  

Defensively,  junior Cleaya Antes (Carson, Calif./California Academy of Math and Science) would lead the way with 25 digs.  Park would aid the effort with 13 while Reyes posted 10.  At the net, Pasker notched three solo blocks with sophomore Ashley Guy (Leonardtown, Md.) finishing with two solo blocks and a block assist.  Sophomore Brooke Bowman (Garden City, Mich.) also chipped in with a solo block and two block assists.  

The Gators opened the day by defeating Summit 25-15, 25-13, 25-6.  Keller finished with 11 kills while Pasker had 10.  Reyes notched 24 of her assists and a career-high seven aces, while Park and Pedersen both finished the first match with six aces, both career highs as well.  Antes chipped in with 14 of her digs.  

In the second match,  Notre Dame again took control of the matches and cruised to a 25-15, 25-17, 25-18 victory.  

With the wins, the Gators improve to 10-7 on the year, and 5-2 in CSAC play.  Notre Dame will return to action soon with a busy week, starting on Tuesday with a CSAC tilt against Neumann University.
