Box Score Allentown, Pa. -- The Notre Dame of Maryland University volleyball team travelled to Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Cedar Crest College and claimed a 3-0 victory. With the win, the Gators end the regular season with a 15-9 overall record and 7-4 in conference, clinching the sixth seed in the CSAC playoffs. Notre Dame volleyball has now secured three consecutive playoffs appearances and five in their last nine seasons.
Offensively, the Gators were led by junior
Cassidy Keller (Sparks, Md./ Perry Hall) with 10 kills. Sophomore
Grace Park (Clarksville, Md./ Atholton) added nine kills on the day while sophomore
Ashley Pasker (Newark, N.J./ University) notched eight. Sophomore
Jamie Reyes (Yorba Linda, Calif.) ended the match with 26 total assists.
The Gators tallied 15 total aces, led by junior
Cleaya Antes (Carson, Calif./ California Academy of Math and Science) with five followed by freshman
Peyton Smith (Valley Lee, Md./ Great Mills) with four and Park with three.
Defensively, Notre Dame was paced by Antes with 27 total digs with sophomore
Stephanie Roche (Baltimore, Md./ Perry Hall) and Park adding five each.
The Gators would sweep the Falcons in three by scores of 25-22, 25-18, and 25-14.
Notre Dame will return to the court Tuesday, as they travel to CSAC's third seed, Keystone College in the first round of the playoffs.
