Box Score Baltimore, Md. -- The Notre Dame of Maryland basketball team hosted Hollins University in their first home game of the 2015-16 season.  Hollins University's strong offensive threats and strong defense were too much for the Gators to overcome as they fell, 54-71.

The Gators were led by sophomore Zaria Comer (Leesburg, Va. / Tuscarora) with 11 points, a team high seven rebounds with three blocks.  Freshman Justice Walrath (Severna Park, Md.) posted team season highs three steals and eight assists while adding eight points.  Sophomore Ashley Guy (Leonardtown, Md.) went perfect from the floor going 3-3 in field goal range while making both attempted free throws, ending the evening with eight points.  As a team, the Gators recorded 38 total rebounds and 14 assists.

Notre Dame next travels to University of Valley Forge Tuesday, November 24 for a non-conference matchup.  Game time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
