Despite holding a lead in the second quarter, the Gators could not hold on as they fell to the Nittany Lions, 38-62.

Peyton Smith (Valley Lee, Md./ Great Mills) added eight rebounds. Freshman guard
Justice Walrath (Severna Park, Md.) recorded an individual and team season high five steals while adding five points and five rebounds. As a team, Notre Dame saw two season highs with 49 total rebounds and a free throw percentage of 66.7%.
The Gators open up conference play at home Wednesday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. against Rosemont.
