Notre Dame Suffers Loss to Marywood

Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. – The Notre Dame of Maryland University volleyball team hosted Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Marywood University for their third match in two days.  Despite a strong team effort, the Gators fell to the Pacers in straight sets, 25-7, 25-22, and 25-19.

Freshman Kayleigh Davis lead the offense with six kills with senior Cassidy Keller and junior Jamie Reyes adding four kills apiece.  Reyes also paced the Gators 18 assists.  On the defensive end, senior Cleaya Antes posted 19 digs, her eighth consecutive game posting 10 or more digs.  Antes currently leads the CSAC in digs per game with 5.55.  Junior Bobbi McDowell posted two block assists while adding three kills in the match.  The Gators move to 10-5 overall this season and 3-3 in conference play. 

Notre Dame gets a break from conference action this week on the road as they travel to University of Valley Forge, Tuesday and play in a tri-match at Kean University against the Cougars and the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Saturday.  In their first meeting this season, the Gators bested Valley Forge in straight sets.
