Box Score Abington, Pa — The Notre Dame of Maryland University basketball team traveled to non-conference opponent Penn State Abington for their last game before the Thanksgiving break. Despite holding a first half lead, the Gators would fall, 68-50.
Notre Dame was led in scoring by junior Zaria Comer who posted 18 points, going 6-for-11 from the floor and 6-for-10 from the free throw line. Comer also paced the Gators in rebounds with eight, followed by junior Stephanie Roche with seven. Roche also tallied nine points along with junior Ashley Guy who picked up six rebounds. One the defensive end, Roche and sophomore Justine Mudiay posted two steals each while Comer recorded her 12th block of the season. As a team, the Gators recorded 50 rebounds, their highest this season.
The Gators will see a break in action for Thanksgiving and will return to play Wednesday, November 30 for their last home game and first conference game of the year against Clarks Summit.
