BALTIMORE, Md. – The NDMU volleyball team continued its strong play today, as it defeated Division II opponent Bowie State University 3-0 (25-3, 25-10, 25-9). With the win, the Gators improved to 2-0 on the year.  

Senior Cleaya Antez and freshman Mary Marquez paced the Gators' offense. Antez finished with a game high fourteen digs and seven service aces, while Marquez tallied seven kills and ten digs.
 
Freshman Kayleigh Davis matched Marquez' mark of seven kills and also posted three services aces and a pair of digs. Junior Jamie Reyes led the team with 20 aces, while junior Bobbi McDowell posted a pair of blocks.

The Gators totaled 28 kills, to go along with 25 assists, 41 digs and a pair of blocks in the win. 

NDMU will welcome the University of Valley Forge on Tuesday for a match at 7 p.m.
