BALTIMORE, Md. – The NDMU volleyball team looks to add its second win of the season today, when the team welcomes Division II opponent Bowie State University. 

The Gators improved to 1-0 on the year after Thursday's 3-0 (25-1, 25-10, 25-7) win over Trinity. Junior Ashley Guy led the team with eight service aces, while classmate Bobbi McDowell and freshman Ricelle Taganas combined for fourteen service aces, seven each. 

Freshmen Mary Marquez and Kayleigh Davis each notched a team high three kills, while senior Cleaya Antes and junior Stephanie Roche collected four digs apiece in the win. 

Today's match marks the first meeting between the two clubs. After going 7-26 and 3-13 in the CIAA in 2015, the Bulldogs will look to open their 2016 campaign with a win, while a hungry Gators team hopes to add to Thursday's victory.
