BALTIMORE, Md. – The volleyball team improved to 3-0 on the season, following its 25-16, 25-12, 25-12 victory over Valley Forge tonight. 

Freshman Kayleigh Davis notched her first double-double in her collegiate career, after collecting a game high 12 kills, to go along with 13 digs. The rookie also added a pair of service aces. Classmate Mary Marquez tallied seven kills and 11 digs. 

Senior Cleaya Antes' defense was put to the test tonight and she responded with a game high 18 digs, while junior Bobbi McDowell added eight kills and a block assist. After recording 22 assists in the win over Bowie State, junior Jamie Reyes finished tonight with a game high 14 assists.

The Gators have a few days off to rest before hosting Trinity Washington (0-2) and Penn State Schuylkill (0-0) in a tri-match at MBK Court on Saturday. Game time is 12 p.m.
