Box Score FRONT ROYAL, Va. – Notre Dame volleyball traveled to Christendom College on Wednesday night for non-conference action.  In their second meeting of the season, the Gators defeated the Crusaders in straight sets, 25-17, 25-12, and 26-24. 

Freshman Sarah Sweet led the charge, posting 13 kills, followed by sophomore Kayleigh Davis with seven and senior Bobbi McDowell with five.  The team posted six aces in the match, led by Sweet and senior Jamie Reyes with two apiece.  On the defensive end, the Gators had nine blocks led by freshman Michaila Sheedy with five and McDowell with four.  The team had three players post double-digit digs, led by sophomore Mary Marquez with 13. 

The Gators continue will face Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Neumann University on Saturday on the road.
