Park Serves Volleyball to Victory

Box Score WASHINGTON, D.C. – Notre Dame volleyball picked up their final regular season victory today on the road at Trinity Washington University, 3-0.  This is their 19th sweep of the season and their 22th victory.

The Gators had an impressive day from the back line as they finished the match with 34 aces.  Senior Grace Park led the team with a Notre Dame record, 17 aces.  She is now tied for second in the NDMU record books for aces in a match.  Freshman Sarah Sweet added on nine aces, continuing her rookie season tear from the service line. She is ranked fifth in the nation in aces this season.  Freshman Michaila Sheedy tallied a team-high six kills, hitting for .667.  Park also lead the defensive in the match, posting 12 digs while the team finished with 23. 

The Gators will now change gears for their fifth consecutive playoff appearance.  As the sixth seed, Notre Dame will travel to Marywood University on Tuesday, October 31st in the first round of the CSAC Playoffs.
