Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. – The Notre Dame basketball opened the New Year hosting Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Cairn University on Wednesday night. A late run to close out the third quarter was not enough to push the Gators past the Highlanders as they fell, 76-64.

Zaria Comer with 14 and junior
Justine Mudiay right behind her, finishing with 13. Senior
Dania Taylor posted 10 points in the game, going 3-for-4 from the free throw line. This is the third time is season that Notre Dame has three or more players record double-figure points.
Senior
Ashley Guy led the team on the boards with seven rebounds, while going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Freshman
Adrianna Fletcher had a career night, tallying a career high, six rebounds and a team-leading, three steals.
In the game, 81.8% of Notre Dame's field goals were assisted. The team finished with 18 assists, tying a team-high this season. Junior
Justice Walrath led the team with five.
The Gators got their three-point shooting going early in the game. The team went 40% from the three-point line in the first half to help keep them within six points at halftime. Notre Dame finished the game with seven made three-pointers, their highest mark in their past five games and more than their last three combined. Five different players recorded a three-pointer in the game, with Mudiay and Walrath leading the team with two apiece.
The team moves to 3-7 overall and 0-3 in CSAC play.
Notre Dame will next host Cedar Crest College on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. start time. The game will be available via live stream and stats.
