Soccer Drops Home Finale

BALTIMORE, Md. – Notre Dame soccer hosted Rosemont College in their final home game of the season.  The Gators held the Ravens scoreless through the first half, but Notre Dame could not recover from two back-to-back goals, falling 2-0.

Despite the Ravens out shooting the Gators in the first half, 6-3, Notre Dame held Rosemont scoreless.  In her third game this season in goal, junior Loren Pardoe tallied six first half saves.

Senior Meghan Conner tallied the team's first shot of the game in the 21st minute going just wide.  Freshman Kayla Grube had a long look two minutes later, tagging the crossbar on a shot attempt.

The Gators posted six shots in the game, led by Grube with two.

In the 74th minute, the Ravens scored off a rebounded save by Pardoe to take a 1-0 lead.  Four minutes later, they scored off a free kick just outside the box, securing the 2-0 game.

Pardoe finished the game with 11 saves, her second game in a row recording 10 or more.
