CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – Notre Dame basketball secured their second conference victory this evening as they travelled to Clarks Summit University for CSAC action.
The Gators played evenly with the Defenders through the first quarter, but a dominate second quarter for Notre Dame saw jump out to a 13-point lead at the half. NDMU did not look back, defeating Clarks Summit, 59-33.
In the game for the Gators every player made contributions in the win, with every player posting one or more rebound and nearly everyone tallying points.
Freshman
Vanessa Dunn lead the Gators in scoring, recording eight points. She was 2-for-6 beyond the three-point line and also finished with three rebounds. She is currently first in the CSAC in three-point percentage this season at .404.
Senior
Justice Walrath, sophomore
Jaya Green, and freshman
Jasimine Gardner each posted six points. In only her nine minutes played, Walrath went 2-for-3 from the floor with one three-pointer.
The Gators had six players shoot 50% or better from the floor led by sophomore
Keyeria Dawson and Walrath who both went 2-for-3. Dawson finished with five points.
Two players posted their first-career points in the Gator victory. Freshman
Jennifer Onoh tallied one basket from the floor and one from the free throw line, finishing with three points. In only her second game with the team, and first time on the floor, freshman
Maci Lopez posted her first career points with authority, downing a three-pointer late in the second quarter.
On the boards, the Gators finished with 52 rebounds, their second best team performance this season. Green led the team in rebounds, finishing with 12. Freshman
Briana Gibson and Gardner each posted six – a career-high for both.
Senior
Justine Mudiay posted a team-high, three assist, while the team finished with seven for the game. Mudiay also posted three points and four offensive rebounds.

Notre Dame has three remaining games in 2018. They will host back-to-back home games, first hosting Immaculata University Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
