Basketball's Season Ends at Keystone

Box Score LA PLUME, Pa. – The Notre Dame of Maryland basketball team wrapped their 2017-18 season on the road today at Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent, Keystone College.  The Gators and Giants battled through the first half of the game as Notre Dame went in to halftime with a narrow two-point lead.  In the second half, the NDMU let Keystone back in the game as they fell, 64-47.

Junior Justine Mudiay led the team in scoring posting 13 points.  In the first half, Mudiay shot 50% from the floor and 60% from the three-point line.

Juniors Justice Walrath and Mudiay combined four five of NDMU's six three pointers in the game.  Walrath finished the game with six points and four assists. 

Off the bench, senior Naimani Staley posted eight points for the Gators.  She was 3-for-6 from the floor and reeled in three rebounds. 

On the boards, seniors Ashley Guy and Zaria Comer led the team in rebounds, combining for 15.  They both finished with six points each.

Senior Dania Taylor tied a season-high and game-leading eight assists against the Giants.  This is her second time this season she has recorded eight assists against a CSAC opponent and is currently in fourth in the CSAC in assists per game at 3.4.

Notre Dame finishes their 2017-18 season 7-18 overall and 3-13 in conference play.  Although the team is graduating seven seniors, they will return several play makers next season.
