ASTON, Pa. – The Notre Dame field hockey team traveled to Neumann University in their third consecutive road game to start the season. The Gators tallied six shots in the first half, but couldn't post a score against the Knights, falling, 2-0.
Neumann recorded an early score against the Gators, taking a 1-0 lead in the first five minutes.
The Gators then held the Knights scoreless for the rest of the first half. Off the opening draw to start the second half, the Knights scored their final goal of the game, 2-0.
The Gators posted six shots against the Knights, with freshman
Vanessa Dunn leading with three.

Megan Morales, sophomore
Michaela Seay, and freshman
Kelsey Campbell each had a shot each.
In goal for Notre Dame, freshman
Fallon Katz tallied two saves.
Campbell and Dunn are currently ranked five and six in shots per game in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Gators were scheduled to travel to Sweet Briar College this weekend with the soccer team, but due to the impending hurricane, the doubleheader was moved to September 30. Notre Dame next travels to Cedar Crest College to open their conference schedule on September 22.
