WASHINGTON, D.C. – Notre Dame soccer moves to 4-1 overall after securing a victory over Trinity Washington University, Tuesday afternoon. The Gators posted their third shutout of the season scoring a 2-0 win over the Tigers.

Meghan Conner posted the first goal of the game for the Gators in the 14
th minute of play, scoring from 15 yards out.
Leading up to the Gators' first goal, the team registered seven unanswered shots on the Tigers by five different players before Conner landed her eight goal of the season.
Notre Dame had 43 shots against Trinity, a team season high by over 20 shots. Nine different players tallied shots in the game, led by Conner with 18.
With five minutes left to play, freshman
Julie Hagis scored Notre Dame's second goal of the game assisted by Conner. This is Hagis' second goal of the season for the Gators and second assist for Conner.
In an offensive game for Notre Dame, the team only allowed one shot from Trinity.
